1. Are you legally allowed to carry paying passengers in France?
Yes. We are licensed by the French Transport Authorities to offer passenger transport within France. Our original license number was 2003/82/0002605 but was then superceded by 2008/82/0002387. Our current license number is 2014/82/0000119 as each license is only valid for a five year period. Our French company operates under the name of SARL 3 Vallee Transfers France (Siret - 450 179 734 00014).
You should not travel with another company who cannot provide a number or certificate such as this. If you are paying for your transfer, you will not be insured as they are offering transfers illegally.
A full list of companies licensed to carry out transfers within the region can be found by clicking HERE. Transfer companies licensed in the neighbouring region but still able to carry out professional transport activities within the 3 Vallées can be found HERE. If their name's not on the list then don't get in.
2. Where do we meet our driver?
Specifics for Geneva Airport.
Your driver will be waiting for you in the SWISS Arrivals Hall at the airport shortly after you land. We realise that it will take approximately 30 minutes to collect your luggage.
Should your flight arrive into the French Terminal, please make your way through to the Swiss sector once you have collected your luggage. As you enter the Arrivals Hall, you'll see the VISITOR CENTRE directly in front of you. Your driver will be waiting close to there, holding a sign with your name on it. He will also be identifiable by his Three Vallee Transfers uniform which is either black, grey or red in colour.

Specifics for shared transfers from resort.
You will be collected from your accommodation within 30 minutes of the collection time stated on your confirmation form. The 30 minute window enables us to collect several people from within the resort who may be staying in alternate accommodation to yourself. However, as you may be the first to be collected, you must be ready to leave at this stated time. We will however text you the evening before departure to give you an estimated time of departure, accurate to within 10 minutes if you are not going to be the first to be collected.
Specifics if being collected from a hotel in Geneva or close to the airport.
Your driver will be waiting for you at the hotel reception at the time shown on your confirmation form.
3. What if my flight is delayed?
If you are travelling on a private transfer, we will wait at the airport at no extra cost. All we ask in return is that you call or text us on 0044 7958 625699 to notify us of the delay in case it has not been highlighted on our system. Should your flight be cancelled and therefore you arrive on an alternative day, you will be charged for a second transfer if you want us to collect you.
If you are traveling on a shared minibus and miss your transfer, we will put you on the next available minibus wherever possible. Unfortunately however, there is no guarantee that there will be a spare seat but we will do whatever possible to help.
4. Is there a reduction for children?
Unfortunately as children occupy a seat to themselves by law, they are charged at the same rate as adults. Please note however, we do supply Maxi-Cosi child and booster seats at no extra cost.
5. Are you able to provide child and booster seats?
Yes. We will ask you to confirm your requirements during the booking process. They will be provided free of charge. Have a look here to see our superb child carrying capabilities in association with Maxi-Cosi.
6. Do we have to share the vehicle with other passengers?
If you have booked a private transfer with us you will be given sole occupancy of the vehicle. Last minute offers may however be sold on a shared transfer basis but you will be made fully aware of this when booking. Shared transfers are sold on a per seat basis and therefore you will be travelling with other passengers.
We do however reserve the right to carry Three Vallee Transfers employees on any of our vehicles.
7. What type of vehicles do you have?
We have a fleet of 12, identical, luxury, Volkswagen Caravelle minibuses used in our private fleet, together with a Land Rover Discovery which can be seen by clicking here. All are 4x4 and fully air-conditioned. All of our VW Caravelles (bar one), will be replaced this December (2016), highlighting our commitment to providing the safest and most reliable service possible.
Last year saw the inclusion of the all new Renault Trafic minibus into our fleet. We are taking delivery of three identical vehicles again in December to be used primarily with our shared transfer service, marketed under "Le Van Rouge" brand. On occassion, they will be used in conjuction with our fleet of VW Caravelles if necessary to avoid delay of your transfer.
8. Are we able to bring several pairs of skis and snowboards?
Yes. There is plenty of room for skis and snowboards within the vehicle. Please let us know if you plan on bringing more than four snowboard 'bodybags' however so that we can forewarn your driver of his impending game of bootspace Tetras.
9. Our group is arriving on two separate flights. How do we make the booking?
If your group wishes to travel altogether, simply enter the latest flight arrival details into the booking system. The return details should relate to the earliest flight departure. Please make us aware of the fact that some of you will be arriving on a differnet flight so we can monitor its progress if delayed.
10. How do we pay for our booking?
Our online booking system allows you to pay for your transfers by credit card. There is no surcharge for this facility.
