Journey Information...

Deciding which airport to fly in to is often a simple case of choosing the most convenient flight from your local airport in the UK. However, you may find that the cost of the flight is the deciding factor but it's also important to understand the geography of where you'll arrive as well.

By clicking on the map below we can give you our informed opinion as to the journey times, road types and approximate cost of your transfer.

GVA and Lyon Maps

Geneva.

The most scenic and relaxing of all the airport transfers we operate.  Journey time is approximately two to two and a half hours for the 135km to resort.  An attractive transfer from 40€ per person if traveling as a group of eight.

The route takes you away from Geneva via the new motorway to Annecy. We then travel along the shores of Lake Annecy and south to the town of Albertville. Once in Moutiers it's just a short climb up to resort.

Lyon.

Almost the whole transfer is via motorway and is approximately 200km in total.  The transfer takes two hours when the roads are clear but there can be a great deal of traffic during the month of February where journey times can be significantly longer.

The total cost per person starts from 50€.

Chambery.

A relatively short transfer taking less than one and a half hours on average.  Jet2's service from Manchester and Leeds proved very popular into Chambery last season with scheduled flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and during the weekend.

The majority of the journey is via the motorway and prices start from as little as 37.50€ per person.

Grenoble.

An attractive option with Easyjet and Ryan Air offering cheap flights from the UK.  Again, most of the journey is via motorway.  Transfers are available from 50€ per person.

Please be aware that we usually only carry out transfers from Grenoble from Monday to Friday due to commitments from the other airports at the weekend. However, please email us to see if we can accommodate your Saturday or Sunday requests as we will wherever possible.

Eurostar and TGV - Moutiers Station.

The station is within 30 minutes drive from many of the villages within the Courchevel and Meribel resorts.  Prices start from just 15€ per person and you will avoid all major hold-ups en route during the busiest weekends on the roads during the season.

This service is not available to resorts within the Val Thorens area unfortunately.
